40 Meter Operation.

• The main console may be configured for 40 meter as well as all other bands.
• When necessary the 3 Element 40 meter beam, the 5 element 40 meter beam, and the Log may be switched to any of the permanent or temporary operating positions
• It is possible to operate both CW and Phone at the same time on this band.
  • This same band operation is done by using distant antennas for the alternate station, typically a dipole or Invereed "V" ie LC ( insert link ).
  • It is also important to have a VERY clean signal.
  • Clean signals are monitored by monitor scopes at all stations.
  • All stations have band pass filters placed in line of each transceiver or antenna group.
• Typically the 40 meter phone station has a semi-permaninant location C/W Amp and switching for any or all of the 3 rotatable antenns
